About Us
Remix is the premier onramp for developing smart contracts. The Remix Project is a rich toolset that can be used for the entire journey of contract development by users of any knowledge level, and as a learning lab for teaching and experimenting with Ethereum.
The Remix Project team is headquartered in Berlin, Germany with team members also working remotely from Armenia, India, the Netherlands, Nigeria, and USA. Our work is funded by the Ethereum Foundation. We are passionate about the Ethereum ecosystem and our work in the wider world of Web3. We are here to serve you. Please reach out on our Discord or Twitter to ask us anything.
Responsibilities
Remix IDE grows and evolves with each release, and we’re committed to making it accessible to developers around the world in their native languages. Our user interface is integrated with the CrowdIn platform for internationalization (i18n), but ongoing maintenance is essential to keep it effective.
We are looking for a contributor to support our i18n efforts by:
- Reviewing the Remix IDE UI to identify interface strings not properly prepared for internationalization
- Submitting pull requests to update those strings to the correct i18n format
- Working with the CrowdIn platform to apply translator contributions back into the codebase
This internship provides experience in the development workflows of an established Web3 Open Source project. Its a great opportunity to learn how Remix is coded.
Qualifications
Knowledge of GitHub, JS & TS and JSON.
