About the role

Join Polymarket's Markets Engineering team to build the infrastructure that keeps thousands of live markets accurate, current, and correctly resolved. This early-career backend role owns well-scoped production pipelines from the start.

Responsibilities

• Build automation for market creation, parameter configuration, and lifecycle updates.
• Integrate sports APIs, news feeds, and other external data used for market creation and resolution.
• Design reliable, idempotent pipelines with safe re-runs, monitoring, and fast failure detection.
• Debug production failures and contribute to code reviews and design discussions.

Requirements

• One to four years of backend engineering experience or equivalent strong project and internship evidence.
• Strong TypeScript, Python, or Go skills.
• Experience integrating third-party APIs and working with inconsistent real-world data.
• Comfort with Linux, cloud tooling, AI-native development tools, and production ownership.
