About the Role

The Senior Blockchain Engineer will own smart-contract system design and the surrounding deployment, security, monitoring, administration, and operational tooling. The role connects onchain systems with the people and products that depend on them across multiple blockchain ecosystems.

Responsibilities

• Architect smart-contract systems for new chain deployments, DeFi interoperability, bridging, and protocols.
• Own lifecycle security, including upgrades, administrative controls, and operational guardrails.
• Build tooling and automation that lets non-technical teammates safely view, monitor, and manage contract state.
• Connect contract design to web, operations, product, legal, and compliance requirements.
• Serve as technical lead and subject-matter expert for blockchain initiatives.

Requirements

• Based in a Pacific, Mountain, Central, or Eastern U.S. time zone.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 5+ years of software engineering experience and 3+ years in blockchain engineering.
• Strong Solidity skills; Solana or other non-EVM language exposure is a plus.
• Experience designing complete systems, building and scaling DeFi protocols, and creating lifecycle tooling and automation.
• Python and/or TypeScript preferred, with strong communication and prioritization judgment.
