Mantle is hiring a remote APAC Blockchain Engineer to research and build blockchain protocols, modules, technologies, and algorithms.

Responsibilities

• Researching and building blockchain protocols, modules, technologies and algorithms
• Preparation of detailed design documents and testing strategies according to requirements
• Promoting technical experience sharing within the team
• Support the community through the best communications and documentation

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• 1–5 years of work experience, with design and development experience in blockchain, distributed systems, or related areas
• Strong foundation in algorithms and data structures, with the ability to quickly conduct POC (Proof of Concept) development and validation
• Proficient in programming languages such as Go and Rust; highly skilled in smart contract development using Solidity
• Extensive experience in cryptography and blockchain, familiar with mainstream blockchain platforms and their core algorithms
• Experience contributing to or developing on open-source blockchain projects (e.g., Ethereum, Solana, Optimism) is preferred
• Fluent in Bilingual - English and Chinese

Preferred Qualifications

• Existing track record of R&D and execution of open source projects on known blockchain platforms such as Ethereum/Cosmos/OP or ZK Rollup is a great plus.
