Overview

Geode, a digital product studio focused on Ethereum ecosystem development, is seeking a talented Full Stack Developer with a solid foundation in both backend and frontend technologies, complemented by practical experience in building software products. The ideal candidate will have an indie hacker mindset and be adept at designing, developing, and deploying modern web applications, and will demonstrate familiarity with UI/UX principles to deliver user-centric solutions. Which means your programming skills are matched by an ability to think creatively about product design and usability. You’re eager to take ownership of features and contribute to a dynamic, collaborative team environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable web applications across the frontend and backend.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, product, and QA.
• Translate UI/UX design wireframes into high-quality code and interactive user experiences.
• Implement and manage databases, server-side logic, and APIs.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from requirement gathering to deployment and maintenance.
• Apply industry best practices in code quality, testing, and documentation.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Frontend: Proficiency with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Backend: Strong knowledge of languages like Node.js, Python, Java, or Ruby, and experience building RESTful APIs.
• Database: Experience with SQL (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and database development platforms such as Supabase
• UI/UX: Understanding of design principles and user experience best practices.
• Product Development: Demonstrated experience delivering software products from concept to launch.
• Shipping: Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git), agile methodologies, and cloud platforms

Bonus Qualifications

• Indie hacker or entrepreneurial experience, meaning you have shipped or maintained independent projects.
• Knowledge of Ethereum, blockchain technologies, and web3 ecosystems.
• Experience working as a core member of product teams, contributing to features, strategy, and product vision.
• Relentlessly user-focused and experience with strategies for collecting user feedback
• Well-versed in web2 and web3 monetization methods
