We’re working with an early-stage startup on a mission to make public web data more accessible for AI development.
The project is ideal for individuals who are curious, self-driven, and excited about decentralised infrastructure and data accessibility. The team is lean, highly motivated, and structured for autonomy - engineers are empowered to make decisions and take ownership from day one.
The Role
You are a Full Stack Engineer who excels in building robust, scalable applications and brings significant experience across both frontend and backend technologies. You'll join a small, high-performing team focused on delivering a seamless and impactful user experience. This is a high-ownership role with the opportunity to contribute directly to product architecture and execution.
Experience
- Strong proficiency in modern frontend frameworks (e.g., React) and component libraries
- Solid experience with backend development using contemporary server-side technologies
- Familiarity with both relational and non-relational database systems
- Deep understanding of full-stack application architecture, performance tuning, and scalability principles
- Effective collaboration with cross-functional teams, including product, design, and engineering
- Proven ability to write clean, maintainable code and deliver complete end-to-end features
What You'll Be Doing.
- Develop and maintain both frontend and backend components of the platform
- Collaborate closely with product and design teams to bring ideas from concept to production
- Ensure application reliability, performance, and security across the stack
- Participate in technical planning, code reviews, and ongoing architecture discussions
- Continuously improve development workflows, tooling, and best practices
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with a focus on long-term solutions
- Stay current with modern frameworks, tools, and industry trends
Company
Cantina is a web3 security marketplace created to connect blockchain projects with top-tier independent security researchers. It was launched to make blockchain security services like smart contract audits, bug bounties, and penetration testing more accessible and transparent. By offering a platform where teams can find and collaborate with vetted experts, Cantina helps improve the security posture of decentralized applications and protocols.
The platform offers two main ways to engage with researchers. In Cantina Managed, the Cantina team matches clients with a high-quality auditing group based on the project’s needs. In Cantina Guilds, clients can browse and choose specific teams or individuals they want to work with. Cantina also features crowdsourced competitions, where large groups of researchers hunt for bugs within a limited time window, creating fast and cost-effective security reviews.
Cantina provides a streamlined experience for both clients and researchers. For clients, it means faster access to audits, flexible pricing, and simplified project coordination. For researchers, Cantina offers legal protection, stable payments, and the chance to build a public reputation in the ecosystem. By lowering barriers and raising standards, Cantina is helping shape a more secure future for the web3 space.
