About the Role

EthSystems is hiring a Protocol Research Engineer to design and build confidential systems for institutional Ethereum. The work spans shielded pools, selective disclosure, private settlement, and zero-knowledge identity, taking systems from specification to proof of concept and production through open development.

Responsibilities

• Design confidential protocols and systems for institutional Ethereum.
• Build work from technical specifications through proofs of concept and production implementations.
• Develop systems involving shielded pools, selective disclosure, private settlement, and zero-knowledge identity.
• Ship production code through an open development process.

Requirements

• Applied cryptography and protocol-design experience.
• Experience building on Ethereum.
• A record of shipping production code rather than only research prototypes.
