About the Role

The Self Labs Team is looking for a highly motivated and talented intern to join our Engineering team. This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience with innovative Web3 technologies, contribute to core protocol development, and engage with our growing community.

Responsibilities

• Integrate the Self.xyz SDK and a Liveness Checking Service: Integrate our Software Development Kit with an existing liveness detection service to enhance security and user verification within the protocol.
• **Implement a Leaderboard for Protocol Usage: **Design and develop a leaderboard system to showcase and incentivize active participation and usage of the Self.xyz protocol.
• Connect Self Connect (Phone Number as a Wallet) and Self.xyz: Connect our existing Self Connect service (7M+ wallets connected) to the Self protocol (Selfrica) to enable simple and easy user onboarding.

Qualifications

• Technical Experience:

  • Minimum of 6 months of experience in Web3 development, OR
  • Minimum of 12 months of experience in Web2 development with a strong interest in transitioning to Web3.
  • Interest in Circom is a nice to have.

• Communication Skills: Strong written communication skills are essential for documenting code, contributing to technical discussions, and engaging with the community.

• Availability: Able to work a shifted schedule to overlap with either EU or US time zones.
