Areta is seeking an M&A Advisory Associate to join our growing advisory team focused on digital assets. In this role, you will work closely with senior advisors and founders to support M&A, capital raising, and strategic advisory mandates for some of the most innovatives companies in the world. As an Associate, you will take a leading role in transaction execution and client engagement - managing analysts, driving workstreams, and delivering high-quality materials and analysis. You’ll contribute to all stages of the deal process, from origination to execution, in a fast-paced environment at the intersection of finance and technology.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the day-to-day execution of M&A, capital raising, and strategic advisory mandates, including due diligence, valuation, and process management.
• Oversee and review analyst work on financial models, market research, and client deliverables.
• Prepare pitch materials, management presentations, and transaction documents for internal and external stakeholders.
• Support senior advisors in client interactions, negotiations, and deal structuring.
• Monitor market trends, token ecosystems, and valuation dynamics across the digital asset industry.
• Contribute to business development by identifying new opportunities and supporting origination initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, or a related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in M&A advisory, private equity, or corporate development (crypto or fintech experience preferred).
• Strong financial modeling and valuation skills with deep understanding of corporate finance and transaction execution.
• Excellent communication, project management, and presentation abilities.
• Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, globally distributed team.
• Demonstrated interest in digital assets, Web3, or emerging technologies.
